About me

I was raised and educated in Yakima and after graduating from high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps, serving the better part of my time in Japan. Upon fulfilling my four-year commitment, I moved back to Washington State. Over the past 17 years I have gained experience in retail/customer service and the food and beverage industry, eventually working as management in both industries. With a background in marketing, I capitalized on my experience and went back to school to earn my teaching certificate from Central Washington University in 2012 enabling me to teach business and marketing courses at Hanford High School.
Education is at the core of my entire family; my dad, my wife, and my in-laws are public school educators. I have a seven-year-old daughter with an unbridled spirit who is the light of our hearts.
